| Private: Conterno Fantino | Private: Barolo Ginestra “Vigna del Gris” DOCG | 2013 | Vinous | 01/03/2017 | 93 | ||||||
Verbiage“The 2013 Barolo Ginestra Vigna del Gris is another super-intriguing Barolo from Conterno-Fantino. Sweet, floral aromatics meld into a core of bright red stone fruit, plum, mint and white pepper. As usual, the aromatics are quite lifted, but in the last few years, the tannins from this site have shown a bit more sweetness. As always, though, the Vigna del Gris is the most slender and feminine of the Conterno-Fantino Barolos.” — Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Mar. 1, 2017 |

| Fuligni | Brunello di Montalcino DOCG | 2012 | Vinous | 01/03/2017 | 93 | ||||||
Verbiage“Good full red. Complex, penetrating aromas and flavors of red cherry, strawberry, minerals and violet, plus a complicating hint of cinnamon. Rich and dense but with a strong mineral underpinning giving this a very precise, lifted mouthfeel. Long and very clean on the vibrant finish. Outstanding, classic, refined Brunello.” -Ian D’Agata Mar. 2017 |

| Conti Costanti | Brunello di Montalcino DOCG | 2012 | Vinous | 01/03/2017 | 94 | ||||||
Verbiage“Vivid dark red. Ripe aromas of red cherry, blood orange and stone fruit. Smooth, dense and juicy, with flavors similar to the aromas but complicated by notes of fresh herbs, sweet spices and hints of flint. Long and suave, with noble but youthfully chewy tannins providing support. Knockout classic Brunello, in fact, one of the year’s best.” -Ian D’Agata Mar. 2017 |

| Poderi Einaudi | Barolo Cannubi DOCG | 2013 | Wine Spectator | 01/03/2017 | 93 | ||||||
Verbiage“Aromatic, displaying rose, strawberry, cherry and currant flavors, accented by leather, tobacco, iron and tea notes. Firm tannins lay a base of support. Best from 2022 through 2040.” -B.S. Wine Spectator Mar. 2017 |

| Poderi Einaudi | Barolo “Terlo Vigna Costa Grimaldi” DOCG | 2013 | Wine Spectator | 01/03/2017 | 93 | ||||||
Verbiage“A whiff of hay gives way to cherry, strawberry, rose and tobacco aromas and flavors. This is elegant and steely, with dense tannins on the mouthwatering finish. Best from 2022 through 2036.” -B.S. Wine Spectator Mar. 2017 |
