The 2022 finishes crisply refreshing and long, with sour citrus, green apple and hazelnut notes resonating throughout. This is beautifully balanced at just four grams of residual sugar. “Best Buy” Raspberry, meat jus, leather and graphite on the nose of this wine carry undertones of fresh soil and moss. Raspberry compote, plums and grilled pork appear on the palate, with some herb and pickle flavors. Chalky tannins and approachable acid tie everything together neatly.

The nose on this wine suggests lightly cured pork before giving up earth tones of tree bark, soil, berries and brambles. The palate is juicy if still savory, with blackberries and raspberries but also ripe tomatoes and red pepper jam. Tannins are chalky and clingy, and acid is vibrant.

Classic oak-aging notes of vanilla and baking spices mingle with macerated berries on the nose of this wine, with a hint of licorice at the back. The palate has more berries and spices, along with milk chocolate richness and earthiness, underscored by firm tannins and buzzy acid.

A very savory nose on this wine offers cured meat, balsamic vinegar, soil, leather, pickling spices, cherries and sour plums. Sour cherries and plums come through on the otherwise meaty, peppery palate. Flavors suggest both capsicum and peppercorn, and finally chocolate and coffee grinds on the back. Tannins are tightly coiled and acid keeps pace.
