Subtle at first, this wine begins to reveal itself after a few minutes in the glass. This Verdicchio transports you to the green hills of the Marche, offering aromas of wild herbs, ripe orchard fruit and apple blossom. The palate is mineral driven, with fruit and savory flavors providing support. It finishes with bright and refreshing acidity, making this a great wine to go with sushi and/or crudo

Savory, sweet and perfumed, the nose on this wine gives dark chocolate, dried figs and old leather. Juicy and berry rich, the palate conveys strawberries, cherries, more figs and more chocolate. Tannins make themselves felt and an acid kick is here, for a wine that’s lush but not spineless. – Danielle Callegari

Broad and rich, exhibiting plum, cherry, earth and underbrush aromas and flavors. Reveals a dense matrix of tannins that lend support, with lively acidity. This finds nice equilibrium in the end, where a vestige of ripe Nebbiolo fruit lingers. Best from 2027 through 2046

A slightly austere red, with a core of pure cherry buried within a dense texture and a tannic structure. Though tightly wound, this shows concentrated fruit, along with iron, tobacco, tar and eucalyptus flavors. Best from 2027 through 2049.

Shows serious grip, courtesy of dense, assertive tannins, with cherry, grass, iron and tobacco notes holding court, while vivid acidity keeps everything focused. The fruit returns on the austere finish. Best from 2027 through 2045

Bright and well- delineated, exuding cherry, strawberry, rose and earth flavors. Turns firm and tightly wound from mid-palate through the finish, showing the austerity of the vintage. There’s plenty here, but this just needs time. Best from 2026 through 2045.

Sleek and firmly built, this red offers cherry, plum, earth and eucalyptus flavors. Ripe and balanced, ending with hints of licorice and tobacco. Compact finish for now, with vivid acidity. Best from 2026 through 2043.

Made with grapes from the estate’s Brunate and La Serra crus, this opens with lovely scents recalling blue flower and baked plum. Smooth and delicious, the palate offers ripe red cherry, crushed raspberry and baking spice alongside polished tannins. Drink through 2034. – Kerin O’Keefe, March 2023

A pleasant Amarone with aromas and flavors of prunes and vanilla custard. Notes of coffee and chocolate, too. Full-bodied, but with a less weighty feel than some. The lightly chewy tannins break up the flow a little, suggesting that this still needs a bit of time to even out. Try from 2025.
