| Private: Conterno Fantino | Private: Langhe Nebbiolo “Ginestrino” DOC | 2014 | Wine Advocate | 30/09/2018 | 88 | ||||||
Verbiage“The 2014 Langhe Nebbiolo Ginestrino is an easy and accessible expression that would pair nicely with informal home-cooked foods. The wine is thin in texture and moderate in terms of intensity. However, it does have the natural freshness and structure to cut through lasagna with melted cheese crust.” – Monica Larner, WIne Advocate, Sept. 30, 2018 |

| Private: Conterno Fantino | Private: Langhe Rosso “Monprà” DOC | 2015 | Wine Advocate | 30/09/2018 | 93 | ||||||
Verbiage“The 2015 Langhe Rosso Monprà is a blend of Nebbiolo and Barbera in equal parts (with fruit from the Ginestra and Bussia crus). This wine was first produced in 1985, although the historic Barbera vines were planted far before that in 1971. The blend is made in stainless steel following fermentation and then aged in 100% new oak for 18 months. Some 13,000 bottles were made. This is a dark and exuberant red wine with bursting aromas of dark fruit, spice, leather, tar and tobacco. Monprà addresses those international taste buds.” – Monica Larner, WIne Advocate, Sept. 30, 2018 |

| Private: Conterno Fantino | Private: Langhe Rosso “Monprà” DOC | 2013 | Wine Advocate | 30/09/2018 | 93 | ||||||
Verbiage“The 2013 Langhe Rosso Monprà is Nebbiolo and Barbera in equal measure. This is a beautiful red blend that since 2010 no longer sees Cabernet Sauvignon, which was previously part of its DNA. The wine opens to elegant and balanced intensity with black fruit, spice, tobacco and moist chewing tobacco. This Piedmont red closes with firm structure and generous volume.” – Monica Larner, WIne Advocate, Sept. 30, 2018 |

| Poderi Einaudi | Barolo Cannubi DOCG | 2014 | James Suckling | 25/09/2018 | 90 | ||||||
Verbiage“Nice aromas of floras, candied lemons and dried cherries. A generous body with supple tannins, making this an easy Barolo to enjoy now. Good length, but lacks some of the excitement that the best wines from this vintage have. Outstanding still. Drink or hold.” – James Suckling, Sept. 25, 2018 |
