Fresh fruit layers of wild berrry, cassis, dried blueberry and toasted almond rise from the glass. The wine scores very high in terms of general drinkability. I was greatly impressed with the new releases from Speri this year. The wines from the Sant’ Urbano vineyard proved exceptional.
