Fuligni | Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG | 2010 | Wine Advocate | 01/03/2016 | 96
Verbiage“The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is a wine that shows immense harmony and inner poise. The powerful vintage is elegantly tempered in this expression thanks to the flowing and musical nature of the aromatic presentation. The bouquet opens to a steady pace with small berry nuances followed by spice, tobacco, pressed rose and moist earth. Dig deep and there is a bit of white truffle in there as well. The wine boasts a silky texture with a lean, tonic feel that excels in terms of length and persistence. It never feels too heavy or flat. In fact, the wine is brimming with inner energy and vitality.” -Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, Mar. 2016 |

Conti Costanti | Brunello di Montalcino DOCG | 2011 | Wine Advocate | 01/03/2016 | 92
Verbiage“Conti Costanti has a proven track record for quality and consistency. The 2011 Brunello di Montalcino opens to a beautiful ruby color and great aromatic integrity. The bouquet presents a quick succession of fresh fruit aromas, cherry cola, licorice, dried ginger and pine nut. All of those elements are delicate and expertly balanced against one another. In the mouth, this Brunello shows a clean and streamlined style with very good length.” -Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, Mar. 2016 |

Conti Costanti | Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG | 2010 | Wine Advocate | 01/03/2016 | 95
Verbiage“This is a spectacular effort. The 2010 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva shows deep, inner intensity and lovely aromatic characteristics that are very true to the mighty Sangiovese grape. You can’t go wrong with a wine like this, especially if you are seeking the true flavors of Montalcino. The aromas are presented in neat and tidy fashion with wild berry, blue flower, spice and herb that converge to create a united front. In the mouth, the wine delivers ample power and momentum with dark flavors and firm structure. The wine need another few years of bottle aging to flesh out further.” -Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, Mar. 2016 |

2012 | James Suckling | 01/03/2016 | 95

Verbiage“Dark red cherry, game, smoke, tobacco and licorice are some of the notes that emerge from the 2012 Barolo Cerretta. Dark, imposing and virile in the glass, the Cerretta shows the more masculine side of this site. The Cerretta is deep, pliant and expressive. Far from an easygoing 2012, the Cerretta is going to need at least a few years to soften, but it offers plenty of potential.” — Antonio Galloni Mar. 2016 |

Verbiage“The 2012 Barolo Rapèt is delicate, elegant and gracious, with all of the sensuality that is such a calling card for the vintage. Crushed flowers, sweet red berries, mint and anise all lift from the glass. This is an especially feminine Serralunga Barolo with plenty of near and medium term appeal. The 2012 doesn’t appear to be built for the very long haul, but it is quite pretty today. Hints of white pepper, cranberry and orange peel add brightness on the finish. The Rapèt is a bit more lifted in style than the Cerretta.” – Antonio Galloni Mar. 2016 |

Hauner | Malvasia delle Lipari Passito DOC | 2012 | Wine Enthusiast | 01/03/2016 | 91
Verbiage“Made with dried grapes—95% Malvasia delle Lipari and 5% Corinto Nero—this opens with delicate aromas of dried stone fruit, walnut and a hint of sweet spice. The intense palate shows mature apricot, fig and hazelnut set against a background of acacia honey. Just enough fresh acidity prevents it from being too sweet. ” — Kerin O’Keefe, Wine Enthusiast Mar. 2016 |
