| Poderi Einaudi | Barolo “Terlo Vigna Costa Grimaldi” DOCG | 2011 | Vinous | 01/03/2015 | 93 | ||||||
Verbiage“The 2011 Barolo Terlo Vigna Costa Grimaldi is the most complete of the wines in this range, largely the result of this site’s slightly shelted exposure, something that is always an asset in warmer years. Expressive aromatic overtones add lift and precision to a core of pliant, racy fruit in a Barolo that captures the best qualities of the vintage while retaining plenty of poise. Dark red stone fruits, cherry pit, menthol and cinnamon are some of the many notes that are laced into the enticing finish. The Costa Grimaldi is quite a bit deeper and darker than the straight Terlo, but it also has a bit more nuance and better overall balance. 2018-2036” -Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2015 |

Verbiage“A taut, linear red, with burly tannins setting the pace, featuring bright cherry and berry flavors underneath. Ripe and long, gaining richness with air. Enjoy with food or decant carefully. Drink now through 2019. 2,000 cases made.” —B.S., Wine Spectator, Mar. 2015 |

| Cascina Bongiovanni | Barolo “Pernanno” DOCG | 2011 | Vinous | 01/03/2015 | 91 | ||||||
Verbiage“The 2011 Barolo Pernanno is darker, richer and more powerful than the straight Barolo. Mocha, espresso, plum and deeper tonalities of fruit flesh out in the glass. Here, too, the style is quite forward and fruit-driven, that makes the Pernanno an excellent choice for drinking over the near and medium term. 2015-2026” – Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2015 |

| Cascina Bongiovanni | Barolo DOCG | 2011 | Vinous | 01/03/2015 | 91 | ||||||
Verbiage“The 2011 Barolo is a very pretty wine for drinking today and over the next decade or so. Open, fruit-driven and super-expressive, the 2011 impresses for its overall balance and classiness. Sweet floral and spice notes add silkiness on the supple, inviting finish. I have a slight preference for the straight Barolo here. 2015-2026” – Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2015 |

| Cascina Bongiovanni | Barolo DOCG | 2010 | Wine Spectator | 01/03/2015 | 88 | ||||||
Verbiage“Graphite and sawdust aromas are followed by cherry, strawberry and licorice flavors. This is lined with surly tannins that leave an astringent finish for now. Better with air, so decant now or be patient. Best from 2018 through 2028. 750 cases made.” –BS, WIne Specatotr, Mar. 2015 |

| Cascina Bongiovanni | Barolo DOCG | 2009 | Wine Enthusiast | 01/03/2015 | 92 | ||||||
Verbiage“Structured yet refined, this opens with lovely, understated aromas of red berry, violet and a whiff of exotic spice. The palate is more expressive, delivering mouthwatering black cherry, vanilla, mocha and black pepper alongside a firmly tannic backbone. It closes on a licorice note. Drink 2016–2021.” Kerin O’Keefe, Wine Enthusiast, Mar. 2015 |

| Marcarini | Barbera d’Alba Ciabot Camerano DOC | 2012 | Wine Spectator | 01/03/2015 | 88 | ||||||
Verbiage“Medium-weight and laced with cherry, earth and tobacco flavors. Firms up on the finish, which is long and juicy. Think pizza or pasta. Drink now through 2018. 1,580 cases made.” —B.S., Wine Spectator, Mar. 2018 |

| Marcarini | Barolo Brunate DOCG | 2011 | Vinous | 01/03/2015 | 91 | ||||||
Verbiage“Marcarini’s 2011 Barolo Brunate comes across as a bit light in this vintage. Site specific nuance is pushed to the background in this decidedly mid-weight Barolo. Dark red cherry, tobacco, mint and crushed flowers flesh out in a relatively pliant, open Brunate that uncharacteristically appears to be built for near and medium-term drinking. 2015-2023” – Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2015 |

| Marcarini | Barolo La Serra DOCG | 2011 | Vinous | 01/03/2015 | 90 | ||||||
Verbiage“The 2011 Barolo La Serra is classy and polished to the core. Sweet floral notes meld into kirsch, red cherry and raspberry. This is one of the more floral, lifted Barolos of the vintage, while the structure tends towards the lighter end of the spectrum. Crushed flowers, mint and spices are all laced into the super-expressive finish framed by classically austere La Serra tannins. 2015-2023” – Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2015 |
